Hello, I'm thinking of buying a new graphic card and I hope that you guys could give me some ideas, since I'm pretty much clueless (even though I read the long post about finding the right graphic card) :)
Basically, I'm going to use it for gaming only, my price range is limited to 250 USD and whats very important to me is that it has 2 HDMI ports.
Thanks in advance SF

A 560 or 6950 should be in your range, but u will only see an improvement of 5% or less with your current processor and your motherboard could use an upgrade also, and your money would be better spent in those areas first....

I miss the part where he included information about his motherboard.

What kind of mobo is he using?

I was also wondering how he knew about my MB :D But it's like really old and needs a replacement as well :)

What mobo are you using? Are you going to change your power supply? 750 watts sounds like overkill in your system but you have it already in another machine so that's great.

He Saw the specs but your CPU told the story your cpu might be limited to certain mainboard types

He probally research what board your chip uses and went from there FYI Nvidia cards draw more juice then a ATI card that is why he Recommended 750. just to be on the safe side

In the end the Op will have to make the choice Budget or the best bang for his buck persay

Do you need two real HDMI ports, or would a DVI port with an adapter serve? As far as I know, the only thing you'd lose is that a DVI port does not contain audio channels.

If you don't require the HDMI audio, that would widen your choices.

It would just be nice since both my monitors have HDMI inputs and I'm tired of that :) Anyway think I need to buy a new MB / CPU like the other guys pointed out :) Thanks for everything people!
