I'm always in favor of building the systems yourself, but at the same time, the price seems good...maybe too good. I would so some research on the company, and ask about licensing. It states that it comes with Windows 7 and Office 2007 SP1. For the price they are asking, there's no way they could give you legit licenses for both of those products.

I tend to agree with you, but at same time even it those programs are bogus, is it still a deal?

some other guy asked same question, and this is seller reply:

"To begin with you could have called me... the PC's used to come with Vista, they all now come with 7 Ultimate. As for the pictures, we used different systems for the photo's to represent the different configurations we CAN build. The auction description PLAINLY states what is used and what come with our systems. If you have questions about our legitimacy, you can also look us up with Microsoft, we are an OEM system builder and refurbisher. You will also find we are the ONLY certified reycling center listed as well as our OEM partner status at Microsofts partner web site. Perhaps your customer should simply contact us. We will gladly answer any questions he/she may have. Thank you"

I'll check out microsoft myself as well - thanks for input I do appreciate it

I agree (only a few months ago I would not know a PSU from a GPU ... today I can strip out my computer ... change thermal paste, move Hard Drives, change RAM etc, with info gained at this forum and talking to members I am confident to build a new computer from the case up) So save your money, ask questions here at Windows Severn Forums and soon you will be ready to research components and build the computer you want :)

Ciara, I would and can do it , but after looking up the parts it is actually cheaper to let this guy build it than do myself. Really busy lately as well. Thanks

Guy changed all his hardware on ebay site to cheap crap. Won't return phone calls - glad I asked here first - thanks for saving me a lot of wasted money, and heart-ache. I am now going to build my own.

Thanks Ciara and Deaconfrost :D

I figured it would fall under the "too good to be true" category. If it seems cheaper to let someone else do it...that raises red flags. Not only can you save some money by doing it yourself, but you can pick and choose each and every component.
