Hey guys,

Just got a Z87x-UD3H and a 4770k and I am having a lot of problems with C1E,C3,C6/7.

EIST is working fine, but having ANY of the above enabled causes random BSODs (1e,3b,d1,0a,50,24,19) the windows desktop manager to crash, and rarely the video driver.

If ALL of the options are all disabled my system operates perfectly.

Gigabyte claims it's because my psu is incompatible. I think that's crap because none of the options work. I was under the impression that was a totally different issue.

I would suggest you to disable RAID. How to Disable RAID: 5 Steps - wikiHow

Now boot the computer back. Is it booting OK with all the HDDs detected, including the 300 GB one? If not, enable RAID again and wait for next instruction.

If yes, uninstall Marvell 91xx SATA 6G RAID Controller in Control Panel > Programs and features. Then follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstall to get rid of any leftovers of the driver.

Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.
Make it sure that your SSDs are running with up-to-date firmware.

  • Crucial C300-CTFDDAC128M
  • Samsung 840 SSD.
Let us know how the computer is running now.
