Today i was looking at my Windows 7 Pc, and i noticed that the original Windows 7 theme (all the nice looking stuff) was taking too long to shutdown (I was looking at performance issues and problems in the Event log) when i was shutting down my pc, so i changed the windows 7 theme to windows 7 basic, and i changed some of the services starting up automaticlly, i rebooted my pc and i tried to play Cod WaW sp (Call Of Duty World At War Single Player) and the game crashed giving me this message. "*Codwawsp program name* has to be closed with the following error 0x000142." can anybody help me?
My pc specs are as following.
Cpu=Intel dual core pentium D processor 3.0GHZ
Video card=Nvidia 7300 GS (I wanted to update to the latest drivers, but a friend of mine told me that the latest drivers cause the Gpu fan to fail.)
Hd=Maxtor 250gb 1.5Gb\s
Memory=3gbs of memory (i dont know the whole specification.)
can anybody help me?
