Please help me. I can't connect my camcorder (JVC GZ MG155-AG) to my PC. I use windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. When I try to connect my camcorder, it says that it can't recognize my camcorder. JVC's site told me that my camcorder compatible with windows 7. Please tell me how to fix it.

Sorry for my bad english.

The link doesn't help. I didn't find IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers on my device manager.

How many USB's do you have connected to your computer? I have read more than 3 may cause a problem.
Shut down computer and just plug in your camcorder to see if that helps.
Make sure you have downloaded the most recent update of your camcorder.
These are things I would do to get it running.

I've try it, and it's failed. JVC suck at customer service. They didn't have the driver online. I have to pay for the original driver CD (mine is missing) and that was the same old driver. Help pleaseee

Do you notice anything weird going on in Device manager, are your USB drivers still there. You could try a couple things here.

1) run your antivirus/antimalware as there are some that will disable your USB ports
2) Shut down the pc and let it boot back up and try one USB device at a time, using one USB port at a time and move on to the next one to see if any of your ports are just going bad, that will eliminate the possible PC/Motherboard issue.

A couple of thoughts anyway :)

USB or IEEE 1394

Is your camera USB or IEEE 1394? There are several other threads where users are having trouble with camcorders that use a firewire (1394) connection - as mine does. I just figured out that while my Win 7 system will NOT recognize my camera when it is the only thing plugged into my 1394 card, it DOES recognize it when there is something else running through the 1394 card.
