Camera to computer upload software

I've been looking for software that I can use to upload images from my camera to my computer. I haven't yet found one to satisfy my wants. Here is what I want;
1 Be able to select images
2 Be able to selectively erase images that have been uploaded to the computer
3 Be able to create a new folder
4 Be able to name images
I hope someone has a suggestion and I thank you in advance.

Have you tried the free google Picasa?

That is what I use. I think it does everything you listed.
