The only time I used the command bar was for the "layout view" button that changes the size of icons or changes to list/details, but the command bar is so anoyying to me, I removed it.

Now I really miss that neat little graphical layout button, so I'm wondering if someone knows how to move it or get a new one on to the menu bar instead. If not, I'd rather stick to clicking view, and changing it there, but it's just not as cool.

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
The easiest way I've found is to use the alt key and type the letters which are under lined for each command option ?
Saves a bit of mouse moving :/

Thanks for the welcome and I really appreciate your reply, but I would rather just use the mouse in the menu bar (view -> setting).

Even though I really miss the easy access of the layout button and I liked being able to slide that button making the icons exactly how big I wanted them, I really dislike that huge command bar.

I'm surprised someone didn't find a way to put the layout/view button on the menu bar, seeing how many people don't like and disable the command bar.
