This may sound stupid, but what happens if you just delete that \Video\ folder? Does it get recerated? If not, that may be the easy fix. If not, you can try changing permissions for that one folder.

A Guy

hi
if i delete and they are re-created by the program
but it's only an example
i would love to protect some folders , i don't want that programs can fill with files or change the content

can i do with permissions?
i read a tutorial
to block programs what settings should be?
i mean what should i change to block access to this folder?

thanks

Hello Drugo,

Unfortunately, you can only block access of files/folders/drives from users and groups, and not programs. :(

This appears to be where the program is set to save at. I've never used the Adobe Lightroom program, but you might check the program's settings and options to see if there's one for this feature to turn off. I found this link at Adobe that may help with setting the video cache size limit. See the last post at the bottom.

Adobe Community: can i avoid to create video cache? i don't import videos i don't have videos in my catalog
