Solved Can I change the main User name?

A friend, upon setup misspelled his name so the main User folder is incorrect. can he rename it? I know rename is not an option when right-clicking.

It is easier to create a new correct username and migrate to that user than making corrections to the existing user.

After complete migration (which includes copying all the data files from the default user's profile to the new user's profile) you can delete the old user name.

I have suggested an easy method for fairly new accounts with less entries in the profile.

Your tutorial is helpful for people who used the system for long time and have heavily populated the profile folder.
