Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT
2 monitors at 1800x1440 each (spanned 3600x1440)
windows 7 ultimate

Is it possible so that windows media player (or some other media player) can be forced when "full screen mode" is selected, to play full screen spanned across dual monitors.

I have some custom media that I want played at 3600x1440, which is designed to be played across 2 projectors.

Currently when you hit full screen it fills up one monitor, not both.

I would really like it if ONLY windows media player did this, and none of my other programs, which default to opening full screen on one monitor!

do I need to install nvidia custom stuff and muck around with that?

thank-you for any help! And I hope this question makes sense.

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but you could just manually re-size the media player window and drag it across both screens (I just tried it on my dual monitors, 2560x1024).

Woo-hoo, my 100th post:party:

It's not supported in Windows 7. You can use some 3rd party software like UltraMon or Display fusion on a 30 day trial basis, after that you have to pay for it. I have used Ultramon and in the process of testing out display fusion. I like the feel of ultramon but the price of fusion is better. $40 for ultramon and $25 for display fusion.
