I am using Dell T-7500 workstation with Windows-7 Ultimate.

It has 4 drive bays & currently I am running 1 x 500 GB SSD + 1 x 2 TB SSD + 1 x 6 TB HDD6 TB HDD,

I want to replace 6 TB HDD with a new 10 TB HDD.

The Dell spec sheet says maximum Storage capacity is 10 TB.

Does that mean, I will not be able to run that 10 TB HDD with other two SSDs I mentioned ?

Here is a link to T-7500 Spec sheet :

https://www.dell.com/learn/lt/en/lt.../documents~dell_precision_t7500_specsheet.pdf

Please advice.

Thank You

It does imply that.

chassis supports up to five internal drives in a SATA boot
plus four SATA drive configuration (10.0 TB4 maximum storage capacity);

I will take a chance because if it doesn't work then I have another newer workstation that will take it.

But I do appreciate your opinion.

Thank you
