Can I install 64 bit on my computer?

Hi everyone I was wondering if my computer could run 64 bit and how should i go about it. I already one Win 7 64 bit and it uses the same product code. Can I upgrade using it?

Each installation needs its own product key, so be sure to purchase another copy of Windows 7 64-bit if your machine is capable of it. The 64-bit and 32-bit product keys are interchangeable.

so I already have my 64 bit and it came with my 32 bit I can install using the existing product key?

Just a semantics thing, but you cannot upgrade a 32-bit system to a 64-bit system. You have to start with a clean install. Just wanted to mention it, in case you didn't know.

You won't be able to activate both of them...you can use either 32bit or 64bit.

then go here,

and look it up.

already checked it is a Intel Pentium D 925 and it says I am good to go. Well I am going to go Install it now see ya.

What is your reason for going to 64-bit? I see that you have 3GB of RAM...did you recently add more and now need to able to address it all?
