Can I maximise performance of 2 cards?

Hello, I'm CrazyKilla

I got 2 gts 450s and there are a bunch of games being released November that are quiet graphically intensive.
I am wondering if there is a way to get more power out of my two cards, I have both of them in SLI and running them on windows 8 which has improved my performance by far from windows 7.

I'm wondering if theres some software or hardware that could combine the graphic memory of the two cards, or some software that tweaks the cards and make them run at their best?

You can use something like msi afterburner to overclock them. When running sli, both cards memory are somewhat shared, but it only mirrrors, you can not use all of the vram from both

It will give you an idea of what your 2 cards are capable of.

But only 1 gig of vram is low.

I tried the Tropics benchmarking tool and I think I turned out with a score of around 960.
I used the MSI afterburner and managed to get an extra 10fps

Why don't you have a anti virus program? (Just wondering)

I have the 'Corsair CMPSU-800GUK Gaming Series GS800 High Performance 800W Power Supply'
Plus I don't have anti-virus because it interferes with a lot of things, always blocking apps saying they're viruses, constantly wanting to be updated. If my PC is having problems I might end up downloading Microsoft security essentials and doing a full scan, other than that I don't need it, I'm not an average surfer who downloads everything he sees.

I've never understood the 'I don't need an AV' mentality, and the only programs I've ever known them block are cracks.

2 450s won't be great for current high end gaming, replace with one good one, like a 770 if that is your goal.
