Can I tell if a new laptop can dual boot Win7 before I buy?

I'm looking at an Asus Vivobook 14 (Ryzen AI 5 330) or Vivobook 15 (Core 5 120U). They have USB 2.0 but I also have an ISO with USB 3.0 drivers. If these laptops won't work, are there any brand new laptops that will? I already have an Acer Win10 laptop running Win7 only but I need Win11 and dual boot would be more convenient. I can't use a VM.

I have had problems with dual booting Windows 7 & 10 on two different Laptops and two Desktops. On three of these I have had the Operating Systems installed on completely separate disks, (Acer Big Bear has two drive bays) and used the Boot Menu to select the required disk, but each time found the Windows 7 has soon been flagged as Non Genuine. The only one that has been successful long term is my Desktop which I leave the side panel off and simply swap the SATA lead over so both disks are never online together. That has worked fine for a number of years now, obviously not an option on a laptop, but an observation on the issue of Dual Booting. Pete

Thanks for the offer, but I have a Laptop for each now, and run Windows 7 on my 2006 Everyday Desktop. They were all successfully activated and had been running for several months and in one case for a couple of years without issue one even with the original key for the laptop. It was once I put Windows 10 on the same device that the issue appeared. I tried quite a few things to try and reactivate the Win7s, but to no avail, so settled for the SATA lead changeover which serves the purpose on my Higher Spec. Desktop. Pete

Did you activate 10 with the same key that you're using on 7? That might cause it I think. 10 forums might be a better place to ask that.
