Can Noise and movement vibration damage laptop from downstairs in this

If the laptop is upstairs(bedroom) sitting on a Desk but below the room is the kitchen and then you hear hard bashing noises + Could feel the vibrations(If someone was using a hammer and bashing on a chopping board(Stopped around maybe 20 times) from above the bedroom floor like echoing.

It was my brother since he was angry about something and wanted attention

I'm a bit worried because the laptop is fairly new and I'm scared if this can damage the Laptop,components and the HDD

Welcome to SF. Not so sure my first concern would be your lappy but I seriously doubt that vibration or noise could ever harm the laptop as it's torture tested for much greater environmental issues. Now let's talk about your brother and his anger issues?

I agree with linne mate put the lappy on some of that rubberised non slip matting if you have to and go sort the brother out or get a therapist to sort him he sounds as if he could do with some counselling before it escalates to something worse.
