I installed a new hard drive today and performed a clean install on the new drive. I followed the tip under Tutorial that mentioned not to activate during the installation. I reinstalled the OS from the upgrade version of Win 7 Professional.
Now the OS is installed, I attempted to activate my copy and received the message that it is an invalid key, can only be used for upgrading not for clean installation.
I do have a valid key, entered the key from the Microsoft email received when I purchased the product.
Do you have any suggestions how I can correct this?
Thanks Greg.
