Can not disconnet projector

I had connected projector and disconnected also
but its still showing connected and screen mixed up each other when windows starts

i need a solution without restoring OS

Neither Jonathan nor I really understand your question, but it sounds like a problem that system restore may resolve. Restore to a point prior to the problem and it should work. In the future do not disconnect hardware before the icon, lower right near clock, advises that the hardware can be safely removed.

If I really did not understand your question, and my answer does not help, wait others will return. Jonathan is probably watching this thread and he will be able to help, if the need arises.

Ok here is the problem,

I used projector successfully and disconnected using "window key+P". But when i restarted my laptop, the screen is garbled. because it is showing 2 screens but projector is not connected. i want it in original condition.

i saw one post in general discussion having same problem and he got its solution which is restore.

But i dont want to restore my pc.

Please tell me the solution if you understand my problem..............
