Solved can not load windows 7 on new system

i have just upgraded my system with:

gygabyte ga-a55m-ds2 MB
8 gig ram
500g w digital HDD
amd Llano a4-34000 fm1

when i try to install windows 7 64 or 32 bit it stops and informs me that files are missing or corrupt and will not continue the software im using has been fine its gone on lots of machines with no problems.

i`ve upgraded the bios to the latest rev. But problem persists my dealer has changed the mother board still same.
i did manage to install win 7 64b once it lasted to beyond sp1 (about 5 hrs use)
half way through windows index test it Blue screened on me and would not reboot.

since then i can not reinstsll windows.also my dealer replced the hard drive.
on some attempts off reinstall i can check using windows dianostic, it reports hard ware errors.
is it possible its the cpu?its all thats left.

anyone help?

Good.
Wipe the hard disk clean using DiskPart.

Install Win 7.

TURN OFF THE COMPUTER WITH THE DVD TRAY OPEN
Ø Turn on your computer.
Ø Open the DVD door.
Ø Turn off the computer with the DVD door open.

BOOT FROM YOUR WINDOWS 7 DVD AND GO TO A COMMAND PROMPT
Ø Insert the Windows 7 DVD and close the DVD door.
Ø Power on your computer.
Ø When that very first dialog appears where you would normally push the NEXT button, then use the SHIFT + F10 key combo to get to a command prompt.
Ø The command prompt will be X:>


USE THE DISKPART PROGRAM TO “CLEAN” THE HARD DISK
Type the commands shown, hitting the Enter key after each.

Do not proceed to the next command until the current command is finished.

· DISKPART (the command prompt will change to DISKPART>)
· LIST DISK (this will list the disks present)
· SELECT DISK 0 (assuming disk zero is the desired hard disk)
· DETAIL DISK (this will show you info regarding the disk you selected)
· CLEAN ALL (this is the command to write zeros to entire disk)
This can take half a day for a 2 Terabyte disk.
· EXIT(this will exit you from the DiskPart program)
· EXIT(this will exit you back to the Windows 7 install program)

Now carrry on with the install of Win 7

But if the installation fails after doing that ^

Many times when installation fails due to hardware errors it turns out to be dodgy RAM. There can be a few reasons for RAM errors.

Sometimes the issue can be worked around by installing just one RAM module in the first RAM slot during installation. Switch to the other if that does not work.

And make sure that you have not overclocked, or performed any performance tweaks in the BIOS settings before you attempt an install.

i have solved the problem ddr3 in slot 2 was the problem i have now removed and all is ok . This was replaced last week by my dealer so was the last thing i expected.

Glad to hear it!

That stick of RAM that was in slot 2 is either defective or is mismatched (not compatible with the system). If you got this from a retail dealer they should replace it with a compatible product.

Many thanks for getting back to us with the resolution.

Before I go to a store to buy ram, I've already been to the mobo mfg/s website to determine correct ram sticks.

Never trust the chaps at the store especially if they are from the creek squad.
