hi my friends.
i changed thie file "sethc.exe" in system32 of my C drive. i used linux and set it to command promt and when i open it , command peomt will be opened.
now i want to get it back to original. i get from my friend a copy of original sethc.exe of his system32...but when i want to move and replace the original sethc.exe it shows the eror below:
you need permission to perform this action
i have 2 questions :
1- for full permission of all files can i do the method of you in 6th post "basic network information"?
2- as you see in the picture below i have 3 usernames...what is the difference beetwen them?how can i understand which user i am using?
1-what is the "system" user?
2- i mean for example for .ocx .dat .ini files if they do not have full controll can we use your method to change the permission of them to full control?
#1
I am not sure it must be just the system.
#2
Yes anything you want to change that needs permission that would be a way to do it, make sure you keep a copy of the original so that it is not lost.
