Have you got the Vista drivers for your printer or the XP ones, depending on which one you have, you will have to set the compatibility mode to correspond.

- Change the compatibility of the exe to "vista with service pack 2"
- Run the exe-program as administrator
- After the sub-directory c:\program files\HP will be created you have to change the Sercurity of this directory for group users to have all access.
