Can this work for install on USB?

Would that tutorial work to install Windows 7 on a USB external drive, since the setup of windows 7 deosnt let you install on a USB, but this seems to bypass setup.

Try it.

About one report per week of another Win7 install to USB flash or HD.

But it's deadly slow, by all reports.

Well, it is a USB 3 drive, but I only plan to use it to make a version that has all my programs pre-installed.
