can vista be installed?

i was just curious....i upgraded my vista ultimate to win 7 and was wondering what would happen if i installed my original vista software on a different pc i have. seems kind of useless to see it just sitting there...:confused:

If you upgraded you can no longer use Vista. It is illegal. If you are using the term upgraded incorrectly and you had a full retail Win 7, DVD, then you can reuse the Vista OS>

That is the way I feel about my Windows 95 and 98 disks I still have. I just hate to throw them away. You just never know when you might...................:D

I feel the same with my year old Vista, just sitting in the closet, but then I think of the money I saved getting the upgrade/clean install DVD.
