Have 2 DVD burners in my system (one light-scribe). Lost the OEM burning software (Sonic) when we upgraded to Win 7 Pro. (was an HP XP Media Center)

Will/can the Windows DVD maker burn/copy one DVD in drive 1 to drive 2 ?

Thanks, Tim

just so you know: Almost no software will "copy" the dvd if it has a drm protection on the dvd.
As far as I know, windows dvd maker will encode to a dvd but won't copy a dvd.

Commercial movie DVD's are almost universally encrypted. No straight up copying application can work around this. These movies have to be decrypted and unfortunately this process technically violates the digital millenium copyright act and is therefore not legal.
