Downloading now...Hi dino,
You would be better off making an image of where you are now - you can restore that if needed.
There are a couple of great free programs you can use.
This one is only free for a limited time - it was supposed to have ended already - luckily it is still available - but not for much longer - so be quick:
Paragon Backup & Recovery Compact Free registration
Paragon Backup & Recovery 10 Compact [32-bit]
Paragon Backup & Recovery 10 Compact [64-bit]
If you miss that , this is always available free:
Backup & Recovery 10 Free
B&R10 Free Registration
Another good one - not as many features as the Paragon apps. - but can go very fast.
Macrium Reflect FREE Edition - Information and download

If you have a minor problem that and you prefer not to use the image (maybe you were negligent and did not keep it up to date) you could use the restore point.

Bingo. One bad driver install for example, a quick use of system restore and back to where it was in less than 5 minutes.

I agree, but many here seem to have an adversion to using this great feature. Can anyone explain that position?
