I am running build 7264 and this is the first time I setup the taskbar this way so I am not sure if it was happening in previous builds, or maybe its driver related.

Just curious who else might be seeing this and what you are running for build.

The "quick launch" like tool bar is just one I added. It a folder on my desktop that all desktop short cuts get put into. Notice how when I move that tool bar to the left of the main it messes up the taskbar icon displays... does that happen for others?

Yes you can move the taskbar anywhere you like. Just grab a corned and pull it your preference

I can replicate it and I can tell you it's directly related to using "never combine" and the "combine when taskbar is full" options of the taskbar.

It doesn't happen with "always combine, hide labels".

Test it, Change the settings and it'll probably go away.

7264 x64 build.

Yup you are exactly right. I use the combine when full option. If I change it to the default always combine, then it is fine. Hrmmm strange. Thanks for the input.
