Solved Cancel W10 registration

If this is not the right thread, I apologise in advance, I could not find anything appropriate.

I registered as someone interested in changing to W10. After reading about some details of W10, I have decided I don't need it. But my PC us being plastered with "updates" which I no longer require, preparing it for W10.

Is there a way to cancel the registration for W10 and avoid all this update stuff, which is being installed in spite of my setting updates at ask first?

Thanks for the suggestions, but none apply to my condition because I have uninstalled most of the W10 updates but was now surprised by an update which I did not authorise or allow or condone or anything and I am sick of having all these W10 updates and thought I can actively suppress this without having to resort to registry changes and policy editing.
There does not seem to be an easy solution for this.
