Solved Cancelling e-mails in Windows Live Mail

I am using Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail. I wanted to stop transmission of two e-mails that I wanted to cancel completely. I was able to stop them by opening the window showing progress ( accessed by clicking on "Sending e-mail). On the next occasion of opening Live Mail the two e-mails again commenced to transmit even though I had cleared the Outbox.
My question is, how do I permanently cancel e-mails before transmission

I would move them out of the Outbox and delete or just move to another folder.
