Solved Cannot access Laptop

Ive got a PC (Windows 7 Ultimate) and a Laptop (Windwows 7 Home Premium). I would like to share files and folders between both devices. I can access all PC files from my Laptop. However I cant access Laptop files from my PC. I get an error message saying "cannot access (\\laptop name)". I have checked the permission settings on the laptop and have given full control to all folders i want to share. Both devices are on same workgroup. Laptop icon is showing in the networks, but main problem is I cant access it.

I had similar issues today with my friend's PCs, but didn't troubleshoot as I only needed to connect to 1 machine. But I suspected a service issue, or perhaps a firewall one. Check the below ones in services.msc (You may not need the HomeGroup ones)

- Computer Browser
- DHCP Client
- DNS Client
- Network Connections
- Network Location Awareness
- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Server
- TCP/IP Netbios helper
- Workstation
-- Start one by one if above doesn't help
- Homegroup Listener
- Homegroup Provider
- SSDP Discovery
- UPnP Device Host
- IPSec
