So the problem is that my brother cannot access my spare hard drives over the network. And I cannot access his. We can get on each other's C:\ drives but any other hard drives that are set to share gives the error that he doesn't have permission to access the drive.
Now it might just be the way we set it up that's wrong.
What we do is right click the drive goto properties/sharing and click Advanced Sharing and tick share the folder. With this done he can see the drive but cannot access it without permissions. So I click permissions and tick full control butu still he cannot access it.
I have no idea what to do to properly share the drive and give access to it other the network.
