Hello SevenForums, today I've had a problem with my ACER Laptop, and I need help fixing this Black Screen Of Death. I started up my laptop today, and BOOM! An error popped up and I have no absolute idea how to fix it.

Code:
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Realtek RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.09 (080602)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
Operating System not found
Lots of help is much appreciated!

Thanks.

It's possible that the Realtek driver for the ethernet controller became damaged or corrupt. You could open Device Manager and see if there are any warning symbols whown for the ethernet controller. Double click the controller and a dialog box should open. On the general tab it will indicate if the controller is working properly. If it's not you can click on the troubleshoot button.
