Cannot communicate with scanner, printer won't print, new problem

Windows 7 64-bit, Epson WF3520. Printer/scanner worked very well for 10 months, until about 10 days ago. Have uninstalled, reinstalled. Printer makes copies. Print jobs appear in que.

well you can try a restore point when the printer was working

Ah yes, I could, sounds like a good last resort solution. But this is so frustrating and I've tried so many things. Wondering about 'deactivating' the updates that were done the first week in November. Have only done that once before and had specific instructions about which was the culprit.

doing a restore will not effect your files but should take away the updates. then if printer works then you can install one update at a time to determine if one of the updates caused your problem.

I wasn't able to go back to the last day I know it worked and therefore only caught two of the updates. Problems are still there.

hook it up to another computer and see if you have same problem

I really appreciate your suggestions. Office Depot accepted my warranty claim so will start over with another printer.
