Hey Gang,
So I have an ISO Image that is 7.61GBs and I am trying to put it on a flash drive for a friend. He originally gave me an unnamed 16GB flash drive that was totally cleaned out. My Computer claimed that there were only 10GBs free on the drive when it was completely empty but I decided that I didn't care and the 10GBs was enough space. I then tried to copy over the ISO and it said that the file was too large and there wasn't enough space on the drive. I copied a 4GB file to the drive just for the hell of it and it ended up taking all 10GBs. I came to the conclusion that the flash drive was faulty somehow and that it was time for a new one.
I then went out and picked up a brand new 32GB SanDisk Cruzer Glide from my local electronics store. When I got home I plugged it in and tried to copy over the ISO and the same message came up. I have now come to the conclusion that there is a problem with the ISO, but I don't know what. From my Computer view there is plenty of room on the flash drive for the file but I don't know what is stopping it. The ISO Image works perfectly and I can mount and run it without any problems, so I don't really know what the problem is...unless I am missing something really simple.
Please let me know if you have an ideas on what the problem is. If you need anymore information from me, feel free to ask. Thanks in advance for all your help!
