cannot delete DVR-MS files because of comskip

I converted a wtv file into the DVR-MS format, but now I cannot delete it. When I try to delete it, it says the file is being used by comskip. I downloaded that program a while back, but I don't know why that is interfering with it. I look at the list of processes running in task manager and there is nothing related to comskip running. I deleted the files associated with comskip but I still cannot delete the video file. Any ideas on what to do?

First, I'd try rebooting and then delete the file. If that didn't work, I'd reboot into safe mode and try deleting it again. It's also possible the directory entry for this file is buggered. I'd throw in a CHKDSK to clean that up.
