Solved Cannot get bluetooth to work on downgraded computer

I recently bought a new HP Envy 17t-j000 and proceeded to downgrade from Windows 8 to 7. However, I cannot seem to get the bluetooth to work, despite having tried multiple different drivers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... Have you tried the Windows 8 Driver from the HP website .. Do you have the HP System Event Utility Installed ?

I have tried their driver, and I was unable to get the Event Utility to install, although I managed to find a driver that brought up a small bluetooth icon in the lower right hand corner of my screen that when I right click on it, it gives me a greyed out option to turn on the adapter

I actually got it to work by installing HP Connections manager and turning the Bluetooth on and off again, thanks for the advice, though
