cannot install my nvidia graphics card

I formatted my laptop ACER ASPIRE 5745 G. then i lost my nvidia graphics card. windows has installed intel hd graphics card. when i tried downloading andn installing nvidia driver, an error is showing up saying installer could not continue. could not find compatible graphics hardware.
nvidia driver is not being shown in the device manager even.


help me to solve my problem pleaseeee

What drivers are you trying?

If Acer has customized the device ID for the nVidia graphics device, you might best try Acer's drivers:

Hello ;
First install nvidia graphics driver and after reboot then install intel hd driver. Try it .

Did you try the Optimus drivers? You appear to have a laptop with both Intel and NVidia graphics.

First uninstall intel HD graphics which you have already install.
Then start with installing nvidia graphics driver and then install intel HD graphics.
Try in that order because it worked for me in one of my friends laptop who was getting the same error.

actually when i uninstall intel HD driver, a black screen appears and i cannot view anything...

The OP had to use a older driver to get things to work.

i even tried disabling the intel HD driver and installing the nvidia optimus driver in safe mode. even then it says that 'could not find compatible graphics hardware'. please give a sloution to my problem
