Hi Jenn,
Sorry for the delay. Life got in the way!

Did you run uninstall KB4480955.zip
If not run it and follow prompts.
Then download FRSTx64, place it on your desktop and double click it.
in the FRST searchbox copy and paste

KB4480955

then click Search Registry. Post logs that appear please.

Morning Snick,

I have completed all the above instructions ....

Will attach the "Search Registry" Log as a zip file now, it was to large to attach without being zipped.

Btw, no problem at all on the delay, we all understand life gets in the way occassionally :-)

Thank you so much for your help !!

Jenn

Please let me know if it's okay, seems like it took forever to run and the last time that happened I'd made a mistake.

► Snick CBS Persist Logs

Need to see persist logs please.
Location: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS
Place all the persist logs in a zipped folder for upload.

Hi Again,

Well I'm at a big loss, I can not get the zip file to attach.
I've tried and tried and keep getting a 404 Error Code.

I only have one Persist Log but I have 5 Persist Cab Files
I put them in a Folder and then zipped the file for you.

I'm going to shut down the computer & go to bed.
I'll try it again later. :banghead:

Hmmmm, went back & took snip of the ► Logs ►CBS
and was able to attach that, must be something else stopping
it from uploading .....SMH :sarc:

I also attached the Error Code I get when I try to upload.

Could the zip be balking due to the cab files ??

Have a good day, catch you later !!!

Jenn

No cab files are zipped CBS logs. If the CBS log becomes more than 50 megabytes (MB) in size, it is truncated. The truncated portion is stored at the following location.

Hello Snick,

Here's where I am, I looked for the WINDIR\logs\cbs.persist.log ....
NO Folder for it .. See attached

Downloaded and ran Attachment 407496 (Uninstall KB4019264)
The only thing that popped up was a question asking if I wanted to run it.
I said yes, it went through uninstall & had to be rebooted ....
Image attached:

When computer started up I got the attached PopUpError Message plus my Internet was out.
I've attached what the PopUp said, & what Windows said it fixed ..I DID get my Internet back.
See 2 Images ::

I also attached the Persist Log file, if you need anything else just let me know.

Will be away from the computer for a bit, it's beautiful here in TN and
I seriously need to do some work in the yard.
When you live alone you dohave to do it all.
And I'm hindered by my broken bones & this stupid boot.

Have a good day !!!

Jenn
