Cannot login after taking Windows sytem image

Hello,

I took a windows system image (on anexternal HD) but then now I am not able to login into any of my user acct including admin. I tried entering my password but it keeps telling me incorrect password for both of my accounts.
I have Acer windows 7 home premium laptop. Now I am completely locked out of my laptop. When I start my computer it comes straight to the screen when I have to selecta user account to enter my password. I have an admin account andthe other as normal user.

I have to take classes on this laptop tomorrow so would appreciate if anybody can help me to resolve this.
