Solved Cannot open Help folders.

The "Help' file in some programs are all .chm files and "Windows cannot open these files" is the inevitable error message. .chm is not listed in the list of file formats accessed from the control panel.
Programs affected are Nero 11 and Pinnacle Studio 14. I could use some help with both!
I run WIndows 7 64 bit. and mostly use Firefox.
Is there a way to insert .chm files into that list, or to change the help files into another format?
