Solved Cannot open ports

I am trying to open port 119 as my newsreader is reporting "497 setGroupDir". Tried opening ports in Windows firewall and AVG but using "canyouseeme"it says it cannot find system using port 119. I hope I am in right forum as I do not know what to do.Thanks for any help

Have you tried opening the port on your router?

Port now open

Using port forwarding software the port is now open but I am still having a problem with the error? Thanks for replying.
