Hey guys, need help here. sorry if i post this in a wrong section
I'm using ASUS A43S with NVidia GEFORCEGT 540m CUDA.
I'm messing around by installing Windows 8 but then I accidentally click personal files only when installing. So I lost all my programs, its fine for me though, I can reinstall all of them but it seems now my graphic card is not detected as Nvidia but some kind of windows basic graphic card driver ? now I can't play FIFA12 but others just work out fine. I can't restore to factory state because apparently its gone (i dont know why, maybe accidentally deleted it). can anyone help me ?

sorry if my language is poor and sketchy. have a nice day :)

It sounds like Windows 8 only installed the basic driver. You'll need to hunt up a better driver from Nvidia or the PC manufacturer. Windows update may also get you a better driver that will work. You may end up having to try a Windows 7 driver.

Hope this works

Thanks for your tips ! I surfed around NVIDIA's website. Currently they have windows 7 version but the latest release date is 22/05/2012 so considering windows 8 came out in february, this one should work. i hope so.

The driver download does not work. windows update also did not detect anything wrong with my graphic card. What should I do now ? do I have to wait for NVIDIA to release another driver ?

Did you download the "m" mobile version of the Nvidia driver? What happens when you try to install it? You might have to use compatibility mode.
