cannot remove "my" from documents and music in links

i still cannot find anything anywhere about this problem.
i moved the location of my user folders to another drive with no problem except for when i make shortcuts in my links folder the music and documents shortcuts always prefix "My" on to the name the actual folders names are fine.
this really bugs me coz it's right in my face in the explorer navigation pane.
this is proberbly the the last bug i have with windows 7 that i just cannot sus out.
any one else have this problem or better still, a fix, you'd make me a happy chappy.

i thought that too but dont really know much about the registry.
i suppose i could search shellfolders and see if anything stands out.

the shell folders are all named as i want them to be in the registry (same for user shell folders string too)
it's just the shortcuts in the links folder that have the problem:mad:
i can create a shortcut anywhere else without getting the "My" prefix, it only happens when i put it in the links folder.

oops just spotted the my bit in the name not the path:o
