cannot run any 32bit windows 7

hello,i have recently bought windows 7 ultimate the 32bit and 64 bit one they come in the same case apperently lol anyways once i installed i cannot run ANY 32bit apps or i get the "the application was unable to start correctly (oxc00000142) and stuff like that but when i run any of my 64bit default apps it works fine i cant download anything cuz the setup.exe files wont run. i honestly dont know were to get help so i came here i hope u can help me.

John you need to decide if you want win 7 32 bit, or 64bit. there are pro's and cons to them both. We need a ton more info abt your system to help

well i had windows 64 bit runnign before and it just started on my new install and when i install vosual c++ run time it will work BUT once i reboot its gone and cant install cuz it fails to opent he installer or any other 32bit exe

The only cause I know of for being unable to run 32 bit code under Win7 X64 is a driver conflict with the Asus Xonar DX or other CMI-8788 based soundcard.

Newer drivers can fix that, or you can disable the EAX emulation. (One of the processes is HSMGR, if memory serves.)
