Cannot run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor

I'm trying to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if I need to upgrade some of my hardware in order to use Windows 7, but all I get is an error message which says that it encountered some problem or something and cannot work, and that I need to install it again, which doesn't help. Is there any other way (a desktop app or an online one) to check my PC for Windows 7 hardware compatibility?

What is the exact error message? That may help determine what is wrong.
Also, look in Event Viewer, see if anything logged there gives you a clue.

Click on Start then run, type eventvwr.msc and press Enter

OK, I've tried again. Where is the error message supposed to be logged in the event logger (there is a side bar with a few options, each one opens a list in the center)?

No exactly sure, but I think it will show up here as that's where successful updates are listed.

Why am I getting two images when I upload a picture SkyDrive? I see the normal one and a "Attached Thumbnails" one that are almost identical.

Can I prevent this?

Just upload it from where you saved it in your computer. Pictures, Documents or?

If the image is hosted externally, you can use this format: [img]URL[/img].

Thanks Johnathan. That works better than the other tutorial I was following. I'll cleanup my posts with the double pics.
