I have recently added a second physical hard drive with windows 7 pro 64bit os installed. The other hard drive is runing windows XP 32 bit Home Edition. The system is configured in dual boot. I cannot see the display drivers in device manager nor can I install the 64 bit drivers for my video card which is a ge force gs 7300 in windows 7.
Also I checked my original graphics drivers in the XP 32 bit OS and had to reinstall them as there was a change to them. Now i had a tech at NCIX do the install and configuration for me and he told me that the sysytem was operating fine but when i started to personalize and configure windows 7 I'm getting error messages when i try to open DVD maker or some other program that requires graphics support ... now the current graphics is called simply VGA which seems to be a basic program for my display.
When i begin the install process of the Nvidia 64bit drivers the wizard stops after about the first 30 seconds with the error message that it cannot find any graphics card/drivers to support and complete the install.... please help

..yes I have the GE force 7300 installed as i can see it on the other hard drive in the windows xp os.... thanks
I wanted to resolve the problem on my own as the NCIX tech didn't instill much confidence or assurance in me... but i can take it to the other NCIX in my area and they said they will honor my service warranty...

That's the best move as it sounds like they really didn't fix the problem in the first place.
Make sure they understand you want the Nvidia card up and running, NOT the on-board video card. And definitely let them know you're getting driver issues with the Nvidia card, and what the other shop did/didn't do.
Keep us informed.
Good luck

Graphics driver problem resolved.... a friend of mine who works for EA SUGGESTED THAT IT MIGHT BE THE BIOS ON MY MOTHERBOARD NEEDED TO BE BE FLASHED AND UPDATED AND SO I SUGGESTED IT TO THE TECH @ NCIX AND ... voila....
The problem is resolved and all is running smoothly and steady as she goes... rb:
Glad to hear that, though I am a bit confused that this had to be "suggested" to NCIX seeing that this is something that should have been checked anyway. My opinion.
Anyways glad you got it fixed.
Enjoy.
