Cannot See Part of Desctop Icons

Hi,
my son was playing miniclip.com games,when he finished I closed Chrome (Version 38.0.2125.104 m) and went to open my browser but all of a sudden all icons on left side of the screen, all but one folder, disappeared!
On the right side of the screen I have recycle bin and a new folder and I see them. Nevertheless I tried to bring desktop view back but of course it is on. It's not that. I went to desktop folder and all files are there but not showing on desktop.
I found on internet some information that could be from some malware so I ran adw cleaner, log is in attachment, only for some reason it displays wrong date. It found some chrome extension (eommhojjeeaapcofdjleiamnokcfdnna) and removed it but is all the same after restart.
So anybody has any idea how to show my pc that files in desktop folder should be seen on screen?

Try running Malewarebytes and see if that finds anything.

Ok I just did it. Got results for 8 maleware and 2 PUP, quarantined them, restarted pc and still I don't see old icons. What happens is when I installed Malewarebytes it's icon showed up and I can see it. So if I put new icons like folder or new shortcuts of programs or song or whaterver it stays here and I see it. So I see new icons but old ones no. How to get old icons reappear?
It crossed my mind to cut all files, put em on different hard drive and paste them back to desktop..?

well I tried this with one file and it works..now I'll do all others I think it will be fine but what happened..? And why..?

Sounds like the profile was corrupted so Windows gave you a new one to use.

Would that make that I can see icons on right half of the screen but not the ones on the left?

I copy pasted all files and now everything is ok, thanks for helping!

I'l skip this for now but definitly will bookmark it in case it happens again!

It happened agian..so I'll try do new profile.
