I just got windows 7 over vista, and in vista, after playing around in the control panel for a while, I got it to show in 1920x1080 (my monitor's native res). As far as I know, I have all the latest drivers for my video card and my monitor. When I try to add a custom resolution, nothing happens when I click apply, or it goes into a resolution very different to 1920x1080. Can anyone help?
