cannot share drive between 2 win7 cpu's [solved]

this is the deal
in my main computer, lets call it computer #1, I want to share 'e' folder.
I go to properties>sharing>first 'share' button is grayed out, so I select 'advanced sharing' CHECK 'share this folder'> permissions>everyone>CHECK 'full control'.

On computer #2, (which is the computer I want to be able to access 'e' folder from), I go to 'map network drive' > there I CAN see #1 computer name>expand> select 'e' folder>get this error:
"Network error
Windows cannot access \\Roysd-pc\e
You do not have permissions to access \\Roysd-pc\e. contact your network administrator to request access"
What am I doing wrong?
P.s
1. #2 is connected to #1 via wifi
2. I selected a homegroup password in #1 and entered it in #2 with no problems.
:(((

I've had some odd sharing issues with a handful of Win7 machines. Sharing would work 1 way (usually the wrong way, ie. A sees B and I want B to see A) or no way.
One easy fix is to add the same Login and Password to the machines.
