Solved cannot start certain services

I have the same problem with 2 units, both dells. I cannot start certain services. I get an "error 5 access denied" message. Because of these services not starting, I cannot access the internet.

go to Command Prompt and run <sfc /scannow> and see if that fixs it.

Since when have these services packed up and any idea what you did that they packed up?

Have you looked at these 2 services by running Services.msc? Did you try starting them from there? If not then try there.

I ended up using a restore point. that fixed the problem. I just had to reinstall 2 programs. Thanks for the help.

I was using services to try a restart and was in an admin account.
