I recently upgraded to Window 7 Home 64x from vista ultimate 32x. I also installed 8gb of RAM. I downloaded all the drivers/updates and everything was fine.
Then, I entered in a System Password and an admin password in the set up menu since this hasnt been done previously.

Once I rebooted, it started its normal boot process but then brought me to a white screen that asked for the system or admin password. The problem is, there is no spot to enter the password. I typed it anyway and hit enter and I got "invalid password. hit enter to try again".No letters, or numbers are visible, but i know the keyboard works because it recognized the enter key. After three attempts, it says "hit enter to abort", and then it shuts down.

It wont recognize f2 or f12 when I first turn it on, so right now I cannot access anything. Just that white password screen. Is there a solution? I have also tried a usb keyboard.

So these are BIOS passwords you've created (as opposed to Windows account logons)? Can you post a picture of the screen you get?
