Cannot Uninstall Microsoft Application Virtualization Client in Win7
I want to completely uninstall Microsoft Application Virtualization Client to gain more disk space on my C: drive. I have already moved my MSO Cache to a different partition. My O/S is Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium. To my knowledge I have never used this App-V software. All of the information I have found so far is too technical for me to understand (such as the information found on this web page: (https://blogs.technet.com/b/appv/ar...the-app-v-4-6-sp1-client.aspx?Redirected=true ) I am not a newbie and I can follow specific directions IF they are specifically not using terms that I do not understand. One step there says to reboot the client .. yea, right. I don't know how to do that. Another web page says to use the Control Panel for uninstallation. There is no listing of Microsoft Application Virtualization Client or Application Virtualization Client to be found in the Programs and Features portion of my Control Panel. My Revo Uninstaller Pro likewise does not list Microsoft Application Virtualization Client or Application Virtualization Client. Thanks much.

Microsoft office uses the Application virtual client. Since you use office, it would be unwise to uninstall/delete its files. There are many other ways to free disk space.
See the following:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/129976-hard-disk-space-free-up-recover.html
That is the ultimate guide. Look through the entire thing, and consider everything there.
Microsoft added a new option to disk cleanup recently that allows removal of old updates no longer needed which can be found in that tutorial at the end. So look at the whole tutorial.
